At ISM Geraldton, we believe that Piano is the best instrument to learn first on your musical journey. Piano is extremely forgiving! It doesn't require tuning every time you play it, and you can see exactly where your fingers need to go in order to play each note. The Pianorama program sets students up for success in which ever musical pathway they choose. Pianorama graduates are well rounded musicians who are able to listen, sing, play, read and write! 

 This is why we students who are within the age range requirements will be placed in a Pianorama class first.

For students who are of an AMEB grade 3 level equivalent or higher, we are pleased to offer 1:1 lessons with our highly experienced and university qualified teacher, Mrs Julie Hart.

Julie has many, many years of experience teaching piano and classroom music, with many of her students having had children and grand children now learning from her!

She is an absolute icon in the Geraldton music community and has put many, many students through AMEB exams or similar with great success.

Mrs Hart will be available for lessons after school hours.

 If you answered YES to any of these questions, then you may be eligible for 1:1 lessons at ISM Geraldton.

Lessons will be a term by term commitment. Upfront payment per term will be required to secure a place. Lessons will be held at our beautiful new premises in Mount Tarcoola, beginning in March 2025. If you are unsure about whether 1:1 lessons are suitable for you, please contact the school director to discuss.
